    DVM

    Dr. Harder opened Jackson Animal Hospital in 1992. The hospital quickly became well respected in the community, both for the quality of medicine and for the client-friendly approach. Follow-up care to any visit has always been a core value in his approach to practice. He was retained as the Medical Director when VCA purchased the hospital in 2006, and enjoys the rewarding profession of veterinary medicine now more than ever. Dr. Harder resides in Medford with his wife of 23 years, 3 dogs, 2 cats and 4 birds.

  • Dana Hoyt

    DVM

    Dr. Hoyt worked as a certified veterinary technician in Klamath Falls, OR for 7 years after she obtained her BS in Animal Science/Agricultural Business and Management at Oregon State University. She then returned to OSU to complete her DVM, graduating in May, 2006. Upon finishing her DVM, Dr. Hoyt moved to Northern California where she enrolled in a rotating small animal internship at VCA Sacramento Animal Medical Group. Dr. Hoyt returned to Southern Oregon after completing her internship in June of 2007 and joined the staff at VCA Jackson Animal Hospital. Dr. Hoyt enjoys participating in canine agility competitions with her dogs Joe, Gregory and Tommy, and spending time with friends and family.

  • Jamie Chilton

    DVM

    Dr. Jamie Chilton grew up in the Seattle Washington area and obtained her BS degree in Animal Science/Chemistry at Midway Colege in Kentucky. She returned to Washington State University and completed her DVM degree in May 2011. She enjoys preventative medicine, surgery, and cilent education. Dr. Chilton strives to facilitate an open and honest conversation during each client interaction. Dr. Chilton joined the VCA Jackosn Animal Hospital team in 2013 after practicing at a mixed animal clinic in Grants Pass Oregon for two years. In her free time she can be found horseback riding, reading, cooking and hiking with her husband and two dogs.
